welcome
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Matthew 16:24
Without Reservation?
So what's with the name? Some people get it, and some don't. It's simply descriptive of how we want ourselves and others to be as together we follow Jesus Christ. For those who really know who they are and what it is that God has done for them, it's simply not enough to be a casual Christian. It's not enough to follow Him when it feels good, or when we are in the company of those who would understand. Jesus' terms of discipleship were very clear and simple. If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up the cross and follow me. So what about you? Are you willing to follow Christ without reservation? If so, we hope you'll join us in the journey.
This week on "The Storyteller"
Albert Tenario (Acoma Pueblo)
Albert's heart was hard... by his own admission. He had a hateful feeling towards anyone who would try to speak to him about Jesus. He was mean to his wife who was a Christian. He even burned her Bible. But through it all, she stuck with him, and prayed for Albert. His sons began to follow his lead to the bottle, and his life was empty. One day a preacher asked him, "Who do you think you are?" That got his attention. Listen as Albert shares about how change came into his life.
Truth Quest
Where do you go for truth? Some rely on their own opinions or experiences. Others simply go along with the crowd. But if we really want to know what is right and what pleases the Lord, there's really only one place to go. Not too many seem to know where that is these days. Yet our success at honoring our Creator and following His ways here are dependent on our knowing where to find His truth. It's foundational to everything we do. Do you know where truth is found? Check out Truth-Quest.
